RARE AND NOT SO RARE

A good wallow is always nice.

Now what's rare about this you say, it's from the drive cam. Alas I still didn't make a drive, but at least it's light and there is someone there ! And My wonderful friend Roy sent me a little tip on how to get on (bet it's what he uses). Not sure how I would put it here, so if you'd like to know how you too can possibly get on, email me and I will forward the info to you. Nifty thing little he sent.

Bet ya know where I got this ! LOL And I'm probably the last to know. But that's OK, the season has just begun. (thanks for the heads up Eleanor

I will change the info over at African Web cams to say that Pete's is back (says reruns now). And don't forget, if you want the secret magic that Roy uses for the drive cam, let me know and I'll get it to you ASAP. It's too eciting not to share. And with Pete's coming back up, we just may have a better shot at gettin on ! LOL

CIVET

OOOOH, lookey here. And the reflection is so clear too !

OK, now I'm sure Nakota knows people! Or she has some kind of alarm that goes off when there is activity at Satara! Don't know how she does it, but she does. And since I don't have the knack for peeking in at the right times, I'm glad she does.

LOOKIT HERE

Was so excited when I saw this I didn't carefully read the email that said what it was. So what do I do? Send back and say 'what is it?' Thankfully Nakota is a very understanding and patient woman and resent the info. So when I go back I realize that she'd already told me. Must have something to do with the time change we had here. Yes that's it, the time change. LOL
.
Oh yea! Bet you all want to know what it is too, don't ya???? Ok, Ok a Civet.

NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY !

First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone who 'named that animal'! It is a civet cat. I had so much fun today, snapping away. Got some pretty good pictures while I was at it. No way can I use all of them, so I picked out of few of the better ones for you. And managed to get some inside and outside chores done.

Before I forget. The Aussie cam. I heard that 1) it's only up and running during daylight hours there and 2) while it says offline on the site, if you run it through stand alone mode, it works. To do that, after it comes up on the site, click the realplayer icon in the bottom right of the player to activate the controls. Click it again and then click on 'play in stand alone player' option. It will take a bit to load, but I've heard it works. So thanks Luke/Lee for that info. I'm going to try it later tonight when it gets light down under.

Now for some pictures ~
