I poked around and got the following about the Buff at Nkorho ~ Roy has heard that it may of had TB and Kebab added that Kruger is having a problem with TB in the Buff's. Too many have it to inoculate. Shelia posted the following on Indaba ~
Hi everyone...Re the dead Buffalo at Nkorho..>
Message:
From the Africam Boma.. The Rangers have informed me that the Buffalo near the pan suffered from a disease that affected its respiratory system and prevented it from being able to breathe. This particular disease does not effect carnivores, only grazers. The animals are clever enough to know the difference and knew that this carcass was fine to feed on.
.
So know we know the rest of the story. Many thanks to Roy, Kebab and Shelia for letting everyone know what info you had on this.
.
Until later HAPPY VIEWING !!

EVERYONE LOVES A RHINO-ETTE

Here she is! If the number of pictures everyone is sending is any indication, everyone realllly loves a rhino-ette!

Mothernature has figured out how to get photos also! And she's done a wonderful job of it too.

Bonding is very important. I know we all watched and waited for the bonding to start.

Congrats Mothernature on working out the trick, I on the other hand haven't figured it out yet! But with everyone helping out, I won't need to take my own. Thanks everyone. I know some of you can't get the streaming cams and look forward to seeing what gets submitted from them. So from all of them to all the submitters, THANKS
.
That's it for tonight folks. But I do have lots more of this cutie. Don't want to over-do her. (Like that could ever happen LOL ) Everyone seems to be watching this site. But I know we all have a very big soft spot for babies, whatever they are.

Until the next time HAPPY VIEWING !!

OUT FOR A STROLL

What a lovely day for a stroll.

All this walking has made me a bit thirsty.

Well maybe a little more then a bit.

That's much better. Think I'll go this way.

Around to the other side.

The grass looks so soft over here.

I walked a long way!

I'll just take a few minutes to rest up here.

LOOK WHO SHOWED UP !

I can't thank Sheila and Nakota enough for sending these in. I missed the hippo but these two didn't. And they both thought to share them here. Aren't they both just wonderful!

Yes I know, it's the same as Sheila's but worth looking at again! Can't see too much of a hippo.

Here are the beastie's! They've returned. and I'm very happy to report that there are 4 babies!

This is the little one with the bad leg. It's still around!

Although this little one is sticking very close to Mom. I'm just very happy to see her back.
I have a surprise of sorts in honor of Pete's Pond coming up in a bit. Be on the lookout for it.
