I poked around and got the following about the Buff at Nkorho ~ Roy has heard that it may of had TB and Kebab added that Kruger is having a problem with TB in the Buff's. Too many have it to inoculate. Shelia posted the following on Indaba ~
Hi everyone...Re the dead Buffalo at Nkorho..>

From the Africam Boma.. The Rangers have informed me that the Buffalo near the pan suffered from a disease that affected its respiratory system and prevented it from being able to breathe. This particular disease does not effect carnivores, only grazers. The animals are clever enough to know the difference and knew that this carcass was fine to feed on.

MADE A FEW CHANGES

Wanted to let you know that the Birdie below has been ID'd. Thanks to Nakota and Kebab for that. It's a Lilac Breasted Roller. And Kebab had a thought on the buff, I've add her comment to that picture as well. Short post this time. Gots lots of stuff coming up today for ya. Thanks everyone for sending in, I'm gonna be posting all day so check back later.

Update ~ My pooch is doing much better. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts. I'm not really a dog 'person' but she was my mom's and I've grown mighty attached to her.
