Now where is this you may ask, well O.W.L. has a new nest with 2 views for us. As most of you may be aware, the first nest was a no go this year. Haven't seen under this Eagle as of yet.

Did some checking in on Kathy and Kinney at Indy. Just what is hiding under there?
Well had to go back later to find out. 4 hungrey mouths to feed !
Then it was off to visit the Osprey in Finland. (First off I gotta tell you the image pretty much fills your screen. It's awesome. And it updates like around every 10 secs, so you gotta be quick if you want to snap photos.) OK that out of the way, it looks as if this couple is setting up house.
Was a bit windy, just love the "do's" it gave the birds, lol

I can fly ! Well someday I will just you wait and see. This little wonder comes to us courtesy of The Sutton Center cam. There are 2 cams on this nest close up and wide angle so you can see the adult birds swooping in. This nest has 1 surviving eaglet. You can find the link to this cam over on

Looks as if there will be a clutch of 2 for the Hornby Island Eagles. Hatch date here is fast approaching.

Finally a clear view of the expected arrivals on Hancock's Owl cam. Looks like they are in for 2 additions soon too. But they look so lonely.

I caught the banding ceremony at the Rachel Carson Building in Harrisburg,PA involving Rocket and Camira's latest brood. Three females and one male - all in great health and squawking loudly! Got some stills from the show that turned out pretty well;
