COUPLE MORE

Now how awesome is this. OK, I didn't see it but it was the POD over at Wildcam. Just had to show you this one. Matter of fact there are a few others that are really awesome in the highlight section. You really should check them out.

Peeked in on the Polar bears. The arrow is pointing to a cub.

Then they panned over to this bear. Stayed on this one, not sure why they didn't take a closer look at the cub.

While watching this one the Mama and 2 cubs (it turned out) walked by right at the top of the shot. And of course I'm sitting here saying "Move the cam up already' like they can hear me LOL. Never did get to see them. Stayed right here . Oh well. Got time to see babies yet.

NEW CAMS

Got this from Katie Girl ~

I decided today would be a good day to drive you a little crazier!:)) I went hunting for new web cam sites. This first one I really think you will enjoy in all your spare time. LOL It has a total of 16 individual cams (I only checked out two and sent you pics) and some of them lead to more cams!! I think in the fall and winter the views will be spectacular!

*Note ~ I'll have to get the names of the cams for future credits. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Then I went looking for something unusual and found the ferret pictures and the bees. Yes, bees. I'm not sure if the ferret is named Wuzzle or if that's the type of ferret it is. Maybe someone out there will know. The sites are....bees first....

Since there are still a few months to wait until the Polar Bear cam is up and running, I decided to go to the San Diego Zoo. The boys and girl were out and frolicking.

I would have had pictures of two ball pythons, Monty and Cleopatra, but Monty was not in cam view and Cleo was curled up in her nest. I may have better luck later. WARNING if you choose to watch this cam know that these python eat live food. I will NOT be viewing or taking pics during feeding times.

So there ya have it folks. I've added the first cam (the one with 16 cams listed) over on the SCENIC Web cam page, the others I add to the US Web cam page (for lack of a better place to put them, didn't seem to fit in anywhere else) and of course San Diego Zoo is over on the ZOO Web cam page as always. I will say that Katie Girl has certainly accomplished her missions. The one to find new and unusual cams and to make my day a 'little crazier' LOL Neither of which I mind in the least. Never know, someone somewhere might just be looking for one of these types cams and now they can see it. Thanks Katie Girl. And the first site will make for some good screen savers even without the fall colors.

NEWEST STAR BABIES

STAR #1
.
These photos speak for themselves.

.
I hope to hear more from DaveKay soon. See, his wife would like him to go to Germany and 'bearnap' this little fellow. I'm thinking the Zoo officials would frown on that. LOL
.
STAR #2
.
Well folks, these are among the last of the photos we may
be getting of this cutie. The cam was due to go offline March 25th.

WHAT A MIX !!!

Lone Zebra.

Now this is a great shot to compare the stripes on each side. I have heard tell that no 2 have the same pattern and that each animal has a different pattern on each side. And these are definitely different.

And this one has very light stripes on the legs.

AHHHHH....the sun feels so good

Now what I got to see at Nkorho. A beetle of some sort.

Must of been the day for bugs. This littler one was scurryin' all around and over the beetle.

If you look at the reflection of the tree and slightly right you can see a reflection of something. Was 2 something AM and with no cam op I never could tell what it was. Came in, got a quick drink and kept moving on.

Katie Girl sent this in. Said it was moving before she snapped this shot. Lynty wasn't sure what it was either. Worm? Possibly some type of caterpillar? Whatever it is it's worm/caterpillar like and green! I'd like to think it will turn into a great big beautiful butterfly someday!
