DAVEKAY IS LOOKING FOR AN ID

Good Morning!

Got a mystery bird that I caught at Pete's Pond. Can't ID it for sure. I hope one of our fellow birders can do it! ~ DaveKay (taken Sunday 10/07 sometime in the afternoon cam time)

Well, did lots of searching, trying every combination of white, black, pied and Africa I could think of. I think I may have found it. A Pied Babbler. Took a look at the photos and compared them with these and it sure does look like it. Anybody know for sure?

BUT MAYBE DAVEKAY & I MIGHT BOTH HAVE A LITTLE MIXTURE OF 2 DIFFERENT BIRDS AND 2 DIFFERENT ANTELOPE, I COULD NOT FIND ANY THING THAT LOOKED LIKE THIS GUY.....ANYONE HAVE A GUESS???
OR LIKE YOU SAID ABOUT DAVEKAY'S BIRD, MAYBE A NEW SPECIES..... MINE IS A.....LINDALOPE.....LOL ~ Mothernature

Hmmm...certainly is a mystery. Has horns like an Impala only backwards. No break in color along the side and they both look 'shaggier' the Impalas.

OK everyone, what do you think ? New species, combo of 2 species or just a rare visitor we've never seen before?

NEED HELP OVER AT BACKYARD

Any Birders out there ? DaveKay has sent in some photos of a visitor to his backyard. A mystery visitor. Now DaveKay has lots of birds visit and this one has him stumped. I researched for over an hour and couldn't find anything that looks the same. Googled various terms like woodpecker, flicker, catbird and fledgling. Nada. Even got out my 'North American Bird Atlas' no go. So, if you know birds, East Coast USA in particular, head over to Backyard (link to the right) and see if you can solve this mystery.

HELP ! ! !

We got a new comment on the 'MORE PICTURES FOR EVERYONE' post. Anybody know what language and/or what it says ??? It lists another blog and it looks to be maybe from Brazil. I know a bit of Spanish, which is kinda close, and I think they liked 'our' blog. (By 'our' I mean Team Littlebit) Any help in figuring out what it says would be great. Thanks
.
Until later HAPPY VIEWING !!
