The flamingo chicks at the National Zoo are starting to hatch - I've attached a few shots that I grabbed the other day.
We are going to the Zoo this coming Saturday, so there will be better pictures coming, including new ones of Tai Shan, just to mention one of our critter friends
down there!
BTW, I got one of my flamingo pictures published in the latest issue of Schmaps, a tourist-oriented folder/
booklet that showcases some of the more prominent attractions in the D.C. area. Google "Schmaps" - it might be on there.
