'A TRIP TO CHURCHILL ~ by LYNINVA'
You read it right, lyninva has generously sent pictures of her trip to see the Polar Bears! Now she took bunches and bunches of them, so what I'm doing is posting a few everyday until we all complete the trip through her. When she contacted me about possibly posting them I was very flattered that she would want to send them so I post them here. I only hope that I can do them all the justice they deserve! So, here are the first set of pictures.
Polar Bear Jail.This is where they take the naughty bears who come a little to close or boldly come right in to town to hunt food. We were told not to go out alone at night. And if we did encounter a bear. Not to turn
our back. Not to look it in the face. But to slowly back away from it. And to drop some things along our way. Mittens, bag, camera.. whatever, as bears might become disinterested in you and interested in what you have dropped and maybe you can get away without being EATEN!
The fox was walking along not seeing the bear for the longest time.
Then all of a sudden, it knows the bear is there. It stops and almost falls to the ground then tries to decide what to do.
Then runs off the other way.. Smart decision..
Well that's it for now. Your all gonna have to come back tomorrow for the next 'installment'!
