MUST SEE'S

Just a couple of quick lines for right now. I'm saddened to learn that the house finch camsite is to be taken off. All five chicks fell to predators over the weekend. The owner of the website said he would be re-running some of the earlier videos, and then take the website offline sometime this week. So sad -- all five chicks were doing so well, and one would have thought that the bush gave them excellent cover. It's ben a bad year for our feathered friends -- those poor ospreys at Blackwater losing two clutches in one season, and the two eaglets being lost in that Maine storm. Let's hope and pray that Rocket and Camira have better luck with their brood!

One other note. Go to the Tenn. Ellie Sanctuary, and scroll down under the pics of the elephants. On the left hand side, under Videos, click on "Dulary Arrives". It is a video that is worth watching over and over. It demonstrates the joy and anticipation expressed by these amazing creatures when it's time to greet a new arrival. It's well worth the look-see! ~ DaveKay

HAPPY VIEWING !!
