I just found this at the NGM Bear Cam site. YAY!! ~ Katie Girl
.
.
The microwave link from McNeil to the Pratt Museum is live. Daniel and Sheldon just completed installing the last of the equipment here in the Stewardship Gallery and we have fine, clear, live video of the river with Augustine looming in the background. With the new digital transmission system there's no interference at all! It's sunny and beautiful out there today -- and absolutely deserted. The bears won't be arriving for a while. Unfortunately, you can't see any of this on the website yet. Tomorrow we'll start working with the folks at RealNetworks to get the Internet link going again. So try to be patient a little while longer. With any luck at all, we should all be watching bears by the first week of July.
