DJUMA & DRIVE CAM 10/29 PM DRIVE (MY VIEW)

First head right ...

then head left.

Nothing like a good wallow

I see you one horn !

Lots of curly horns !

Almost time for the drive !

First up a group of Impala's. This one had a horn that grew sideways. Got broke when younger somehow.

Nice grouping ~ Impala, Waterbuck and Wildebeest

Was told they were
'grooming'

Hard to see but shot of a Shrike nest (with bird)

Lilac-breasted Roller (like a coat of many colors)

Mongoose youngster (a bit cam shy though)

Termite Mound. Interesting fact from Pieter ~ If you took all the Termites they would out weigh all the humans on Earth. Now that's a lotta Termites ! !

Back at the WH, more wallowing. Fact is this one ran off 1 or 2 others to get this spot

Buffs leaving the WH and moving on.

Turned out to be a rather large group of upwards 30 Dagga boys. Could hear Pieter's cam clicking away !

How rude ! Behind this upstager are 2 Buffs locking horns

Big guy (but not biggest in bunch)

After sunset, called it 'Sky Shading'

Quick back at the WH, Alpha (that's their name for this boonie who frequently is there)

Missed a few things along the way. Silly pooch here needed to go out, so run let her out. Then the other 2 went out, OK. About 5 min later, run let them back in. Oops, only 2 there. Whistle, wait, whistle, wait. Run back to cam, just driving. Ok, grab shoes check yard for dog. Nothing. Run back check cam, cool bird but cam moves as I enter the room no pic (sigh). Grab coat and keys head off to find dog. Found dog in park behind house. Back to house and cam. Driving (wonder what I missed). Out to check fence for holes. Found it. Dog broke through (3 slats broke off half way up. Will have to fix that). Back to cam, drive almost over, on night cam now. They saw a Dikker and a Scrub Hare but said wildlife took off before they could get a cam shot. Oh well. I did get the fenced fixed though (temp fix, ply wood over bottom half of section. Project for another day).
.
HAPPY VIEWING !!
