DRIVE CAM 10/12 PM

Mongoose

make that 2 ...

OK 3, settling in for the night

A bird, went by it rather quickly, on a mission you see. Once more there's been a Leopard siting and we're on our way.

Didn't even stop to see these buffs. They moved off roadside rather quickly too.

Switch over to the Dam to catch the boonies. Wonder if that was so we didn't have to be on the landie as it hot footed it to the Leopard siting LOL

WOO WHOO ! YIPEE ! HAPPY DANCIN' GOIN ON HERE !

Finally, my very first Leopard

Here's the story ...

This is the resident Leopard, Mafufunyane. And he is on a mission of his own.

Tracking is thirsty business ...

especially when your looking for a interloper.

According to Rexon another male (younger) being called Tyson has been coming into the area lately.

Mafufunyane has been busy remarking his territory and keeping an eye out for the new guy. Rexon then suggested that if (or should I say when) these two meet up it'll be a battle. Now that would be a sight to see

While the landie is switching over to night cam we see some human activity at the Dam.

Well what do ya know, by the time they went to finally switch, time had run out. So not only did I get my first Leopard, but it was all in color (don't want to cut away from Mafufunyane just to switch). Hopefully I can get on the Drive in the morning and see some more.
