Ah ha, Drive cam is up.

Got these while waiting for the Drive itself to start.

And we're off. Pieter driving today, Rexon on cam

Caught up with the Raffie's at the Dam

Quick switch to streaming cam shows the Landie headed for Gowrie

Pieter finds something

Little Terepin

After assuring us that it didn't hurt, Pieter shows how it can flip over without help. Took about 1 second

Bull and Cow

He was real interested in her. Followed her every step.

Impala. Said there were 'tons' of them and population should be going up by 50 % within a month or so.

Pair of Geese also gearing up for parenthood.

Where as Ducks will not eat grass, Geese do

Tip of horn broke off, but it'll get another point in time due to rubbing and stuff. This is a female by the way.

Bull Rhino. Was the jumpier of the 2.

Quick shot of a Termite Mound

Kept moving behind brush

I call this 'The Road Not Taken'. Pieter says he likes to take small roads, the smaller the better, for new adventures.

Impala

quick check back at the Dam, Hammerkop looking for a late afternoon snack

Yellow Billed Hornbill

Small herd, 2 cows and 3 youngsters.

Several times she does a 'mock' charge. Pieter thinks it's 'so exciting to see an Elephant charging at you' I'm not to sure about that.

Backed up to let them trot across the road

More charges

Stopped to check for tracks, nothing. But they did change spots, Rexon driving now.

Got tons of sunset shots. All very beautiful.

Sun through bush

The next 3 where all taken within 1 min.

I could actually see it moving. How awesome is that ! !

Back to the Dam while the switch over to night cam goes on, finds a Baboon family visiting.

White Tailed Mongoose

Bush Baby

It's been a 3 hour Drive and I got to see some things I never have before. I deem this Drive a success even if I didn't see any cats.
